The Circassian National Assembly (CNA) has formally addressed an official letter to His Excellency Kazbek Valeryevich Kokov, President of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. In the letter, the CNA introduces its establishment as an international coalition of Circassian civil society organizations and diaspora representatives, founded following extensive consultations and international Circassian conferences.
The communication emphasizes the Assembly’s non-oppositional and cooperative approach and its commitment to preserving Circassian identity, language, culture, and heritage, while strengthening ties between the Circassian diaspora and the historical homeland. The CNA expresses its readiness to engage in constructive dialogue and cooperation with the authorities of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, particularly in the areas of cultural and educational exchange, language preservation, cultural heritage protection, youth engagement, and community development.
